Spell/Power Packet How-To
Crafting a packet is really quite easy and can be done with minimal equipment. It is suggested that you make at least double of the number of packets that you anticipate needing for any given event. The reason for this is that they get lost often.
Materials Needed:
-Cloth
-Scissors
-Measuring Spoons
-Birdseed
-Tape (electrical or duct)
Cut the cloth into squares that measure about 8" x 8". This can be any type of cloth, but a light cotton is recommended. Cloth that doesn't fray on the edges when cut is preferable.
Step Two:
Measure out about one to one and a half tablespoons of birdseed and place it in the middle of the cloth. Birdseed is used because of its weight, and durability. Rice is too lightweight and crumbles easily. Birdseed can be found at any grocery store, but I recommend looking at dollar stores.
Step Three:
Gather up the corners of the cloth, taking care to not spill the birdseed. Give it one twist around the birdseed.
Step Four:
Tightly wrap a piece of tape that's about 1/4" to 1/2" wide and about three to four inches long around the base of the birdseed. If the tape isn't wrapped tight enough, the birdseed could fall out. But you also don't want it so tight that the birdseed can't move within its own space, which will cause the packet to be too hard.
That's it! Repeat the above steps and then throw them at your opponents!!
